Why use Piksters™?
Piksters™ bristles reach into and clean the indents on the surfaces between your teeth – especially at the gum line of molars and premolars. Floss is not as effective in this situation, although it is very effective in other areas and should be used in conjunction. Piksters™ are also easier to use in that they only require one hand.
Piksters™ remove plaque & food particles in areas normal toothbrushes don’t reach as effectively. Plaque is a significant factor in decay and gum disease. Decaying food particles can also cause bad breath.

- To insert the brush between the back teeth, use one finger to push the tip of the brush head (not the base) over to an angle of approximately 45-90°, ONCE ONLY. Pushing the tip will avoid a sharp bend where the plastic meets the wire and reduces stress and breakage in the metal.
- Insert the brush SLOWLY with a gentle wriggling action – this will ease the brush in so that the wire does not buckle. If the brush is pushed too hard, or the wrong size is used and the wire buckles, discard the brush. Once bent, it cannot be straightened properly.
- Choose a size that inserts without force. The correct size will fit easily.
- Do not bend the handle back and forth against the brush head when the brush is inserted.
- Do not recap a bent brush more than 3 times as this will bend the wire and increase chance of breakage.
- Front teeth do not require the brush head to be bent and should be inserted with the brush head in line with the plastic handle, using a gentle twisting or wriggling action.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
If the brush head breaks and becomes caught between your teeth use one of the following methods to get it out:
- Use another brush to push out the broken piece but insert it from the opposite direction.
- Use a pair of tweezers to pull the broken piece out.
- Use a toothpick to push out the broken piece.
- Use a piece of floss with 2 or 3 knots tied on top of each other to floss out the broken piece.
Tilt your head forward so that the piece falls out of your mouth. Do not look upward into a mirror or breathe in, or aspirate the broken piece. If you cannot remove the piece, contact your dentist.
